Dear Students & Parents,

        In India almost 60-70% of our population depends on Agriculture.Increasing the productivity of the plant is our main responsibility and it is possible only if we transfer the fresh agricultural knowledge adopted for training to the young generation in the fields of cultivation, biotechnology, food technology, soil and water conservation system etc. According to these objectives, Our college started under the leadership of Yuva Gramin Vikas Sanstha, Pal (Gargoti) and affiliated to MPKV Rahuri in 2023.

        Technology is revolutionizing all human activities, especially agriculture. The key to successful and sustainable agriculture is invention and innovation. More than 65% of India's population depends on agriculture for their livelihood. There are many small and marginal farmers in our country. The smaller the space, the greater the need to increase productivity. The production technology of industrialized countries provided institutional structures designed to enhance the power of scale of small producers in the production and post-harvest phases of agriculture. Agricultural development can be accelerated if there is a systematic approach to production planning, in which all links of the production-marketing-consumption chain are simultaneously considered.

        We are proud to be one of the youngest, balanced and experienced faculty groups across the wide spectrum of Agriculture in Maharashtra. I appreciate teaching as well as non-teaching staff and students, who are rendering their wholehearted support and co-operation to make the institute the centre of excellence. I extend my best wishes to all students in their chosen career path. I wish you all the best for achieving greater success and scaling newer heights in your education and career ahead.
